Just read a great article posted by Rose Lear written by David Brownlow, contributing writer for NewsWithViews.Com . He sure sheds some light on the fight between the Alabama Supreme Court and the 11th district Court of Appeals over the 2-1/2 ton Ten Commandments statue. The "feds" just can't seem to let the states alone! And they don't seem to be able to read the U.S. Constitution as written either - as David Brownlow states. This country and our government was clearly founded on Christian principles. Why would anyone want to destroy or censor those values unless they held strong communistic values themselves?
For those who think we should listen to their every whine and involve the government in every facet of their life because they just can't seem to cope, and where the "big meanie" general populace is otherwise ignoring their empty diatribe, I say this: If you don't like the way something looks, what it says, the way it sounds - change the channel, turn it off, put the book down, look the other way, IGNORE IT! Just like the Ten Commandments statue in the Alabama Supreme Court, you are under NO obligation to read it or believe it - so don't! The First Amendment MUST STAND as written or the rest of the Bill of Rights doesn't matter!
