America Loses a Great Comedian, Philosopher and Teacher
Though many found George Carlin offensive because of his "Rated R" performances and for some of the topics he spoke about, he was notorious for his comedic ramblings and stories. He made people laugh and as he did, he often gave them food for thought about life, self responsibility, freedom, politics, foreign policy and other important issues of life. He was a skilled and gifted entertainer and a teacher to many over his five decade comedic career.
