To All Who Are Hoping For A Change
Today I had the opportunity(?) to watch a tape of the presidential debate by the Democratic hopefuls this past Thursday. I'm sorry to report (as if you didn't already know) the status quo rhetoric is entirely intact. The same mindless drivel and meaningless bickering prevailed. Once the cuts are made through the convention process, the most unfortunate thing about future "all party" debates is that the independent, change-minded candidates are rarely included (by design) so that the general public will rarely if ever get a chance to hear the clear views of the true reformists among us. And of course, we all know the entire slant of campaign financing by the federal government. Tell me how much do the big guys get and how much do the little guys get again?

Keeping the public ignorant and covering up of "other views" is aided and abetted by the media as usual. You know what I mean. The "fair and balanced" reporting we have all come to know. I remember one day I was listening to Michael Medved, national talk radio host. My mistake. You see Mr. Medved was busy jumping all over someone for voting outside of the Democratic or Republican party because he was just wasting his vote. The person that HE chose to vote for with HIS vote would never get in. How condescending and insulting! Excuse me but in my view, your vote belongs to you! The only right thing to do is to vote your mind, heart and conscience. Your vote is NEVER wasted! Gee, Mr. Medved, when the day comes (and it will) that enough wasted votes fall into the same wasted column and happen to vote new blood in and a status quo yuk out, what will that make your vote, hmmmm?
