Ron Paul is scheduled to be there!

Please pass this information on so that we can have a big turnout in support of Ron Paul. Thanks!

A timely quote..............

Here is a timely quote by Otto Skinner sent in by a reader. It is right down Ron Paul's political alley. Thanks to Dann for enlightening me on this one!

If any private American citizen really thinks he is subject to the quagmire of all the statutes, rules, regulations, forms and penalties of the Internal Revenue Code, he should just go to the fields, pick the cotton, let the [massa] have whatever percentage of his production the [massa] wants, fill out whatever forms the [massa] demands, provide the [massa] with whatever personal information the [massa] wants from him, and thank the [massa] for letting him keep a portion of what he has worked for.

But PLEASE...don't call that freedom !
[emphasis added]

Otto U. Skinner (1997)

If you believe as I do that today, you are not a free sovereign in America but rather a slave to the banks and government control in AMERIKA, the I surely hope you will support Ron Paul in his bid for president. He is the ONLY candidate in any party who wants to return our nation back to the Constitutional mandates of limited government and individual rights. God Bless Ron Paul.

Just Three Words On Amnesty And Immigration Reform

NO! NO! NO!

Amnesty hasn't worked since the last amnesty bill in 1986 and it won't work now! Seriously! Call, fax or email your Senators today and tell them we want the current immigration laws enforced NOW!

The amnesty bill from last week was dead! But like a zombie, some senators are trying to bring it back from the dead! This is no time to trust their judgment! They are about to sneak a bill through without debate, with little or no amendments nor committee hearings! They must understand that we will NOT tolerate another amnesty program, lax border control or any immigration reform aimed at making criminals legal! After all, what is so hard to understand about ILLEGAL immigrant? The first act that these people did when they entered America was ILLEGAL! What makes us think they will follow any other laws -- even a new amnesty bill?

If we are truly a nation of laws, then we will get serious about border control, round the illegals up and deport them -- no matter how long it takes. We do have around a million people in the armed services state-side. We CAN get the job done and we must! Then the deported can get in line behind those who are trying to immigrate to America the LEGAL way.

CALL YOUR SENATORS TODAY AND TELL THEM NO ON AMNESTY AND NO ON IMMIGRATION REFORM! ENFORCE THE LAWS WE ALREADY HAVE!

Oh ya and RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!

The Man Who Should Be The Next President

Quotes From Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas), Candidate For President. Be sure to watch the next Republican debate on July 23rd to hear the only man or woman in any party supporting the U.S. Constitution. Forget government hype! Forget media hype! Listen for truth and reason! Mr. Paul represents what millions of Americans have been searching for -- for decades -- constitutional government, common sense and logic!

Ron Paul Quotes:

"But just think. We gave the president authority to go into Afghanistan, and here we have Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. They have nuclear weapons, and we're giving them money."

(On fixing Iraq)
"Well, we've had four years to do this and it hasn't worked. The biggest incentive for them to take upon themselves the responsibility is just for us to leave. We don't need to lose 100 men and women every month, more than 1,000 per year. And so you want it done. You want them to take over. You've got to give them an incentive.

So I think we should immediately stop patrolling the streets. That's a policeman's job. It's not the work of the Army. We're not fighting a military battle. We're in a different type of warfare right now. So the sooner we recognize that, the sooner we can make sure that no more Americans will die.

We have a lot of goodness in this country and we should promote it, but never through the barrel of a gun. We should do it by setting good standards, motivating people, and have them want to emulate us. But you can't enforce our goodness like the neocons preach with an armed force. It doesn't work. Woodrow Wilson was telling us about that in promoting democracy a long time ago."

"Ronald Reagan in 1983 sent Marines into Lebanon, and he said he would never turn tail and run. A few months later, the Marines were killed, 241 were killed, and the Marines were taken out. And Reagan addressed this subject in his memoirs. And he says, 'I said I would never turn tail and run.' He says, 'But I never realized the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics,' and he changed his policy there."

(If you were president, would you work to phase out the IRS?)
"Immediately. And you can only do that if you change our ideas about what the role of government ought to be. If you think that government has to take care of us, from cradle to grave, and if you think our government should police the world and spend hundreds of billions of dollars on a foreign policy that we cannot manage, you can't (ph) get rid of the IRS; but, if you want to lower taxes and if you want the government to quit printing the money to come up with shortfall and cause all the inflation, you have to change policy."

"Why do we go to the Middle East? You know that oil is very important about the Middle East and why we're there. Why did we, our government, help overthrow Mossadeq in 1953? It had to do with oil. So our foreign policy is designed to protect our oil interests. The profits — that's not the problem. It's the problem that we succumb to the temptation to protect oil interests by literally going out and fighting wars over oil."

(On creating the Department of Homeland Security)
"Well, I think we should not go to more bureaucracy. It didn't work. We were spending $40 billion on security prior to 9/11, and they had all the information they needed there to deal with the threat, and it was inefficiency. So what do we do? We add a gigantic bureaucracy, which they're still working on trying to put it together, and a tremendous amount of increase in funds.

So I don't think that the Republican position ought to be more bureaucracy. I mean, why did we double the size of the Department of Education?"

"But one thing that has not been mentioned here, which I think is very, very important — if you subsidize something, you get more of it. So — we subsidize illegal immigration, we reward it by easy citizenship, either birthright or amnesty.

But we force our states and our local communities to pay for the health care and pay for the education. Why wouldn't they bring their families? And because of our economic conditions, we do need workers. But if we had a truly free market economy, the illegal immigrants would not be the scapegoat. We would probably need them and they would be acceptable, but because of economic conditions, they have become the scapegoat."

Please share this with your friends, relatives, coworkers! Mr. Paul deserves our vote in the Republican primary election! And is oh so obvious, the press is busily trying to steer and highlight Guliani and McCain regardless of what you may think. Even the polls often ignore all candidates when asking people who they would vote for. So, more censorship is afloat. But, we can make a serious impact by becoming active in the efforts of a man who wants to save America and restore her to strict constitutional government!

Forget how the current Republican Party is spinning conservatism – Ron Paul is actually the most conservative candidate running for president and truly wants power given back to the states. During his 10 years in congress, he voted against every measure that was not authorized by the Constitution, earning him the nickname "Dr. No." Yes, this meant constantly voting against other republicans, since Ron Paul:

Never voted for the Iraq war.
Never voted for the Patriot Act.
Never voted to raise taxes.
Never voted for an unbalanced budget.
Never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
Never voted to raise congressional pay.

Votes to cut government spending.
Votes to end the war on drugs.
Votes to protect civil liberties.
