Who Should The New Supreme Be?

Of course it goes without saying and most of you know that I have NO time for Gee Dubya. And as such, I strongly question his motives, morals and ethics at all times. For example, the other day as we all know he selected Harriet Meirs for his supreme court nomination.

Well, after researching her and catching my breath, all I can say is "Get the hell outta town, George! What the hell are you up to now?! I smell a minion of the obsequious kind.

Many have indicated their desire for someone more qualified, more experienced. I surely agree. One name that has surfaced several times is Janice Rogers Brown. Now I try to be objective before I comment so I dug around to find out about her too and came up with this speech that Janice Rogers Brown gave to the The Federalist Society, University of Chicago Law School in April 2000. Please read it and tell me who you want on the supreme court. A Bush minion Meirs or a highly qualified Brown for "We The People"?

If you feel like I do, you will write to and call all of the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee quickly telling them to deny a Meir confirmation lest they make a fatal error!

Senate Bill S.1145

I was recently shown Senate Bill S.1145 Local Law Enforcement Enhancement Act of 2005. 1

This seems to be yet another example of Big Brother's attempt at total domination of "We The People" but by ANY measure is a totally worthless bill.

It sets out to make it a crime when a violent act injuring or attempting to injure a minority of any sort is committed. Apparently the Senate body doesn't feel that the current laws are enough. Perhaps they feel that us poor widdle ignowant states can't tend to such large responsibilities as passing laws for dealing with crimes against others.

Now I'm no brainiac but it seems to me that there are already ample local and state laws to deal with these kinds of acts against others as well as 51 constitutions and most religious doctrine to steer our consciences to boot.

Why must our highly paid elected body waste its time on such overkill when they have sought to ignore sunset provisions of the [un]Patriot Acts and reinstated them, have only (thus far) toyed around with bills that would overcome the treasonous act of the U.S. supreme Court in Kelo et al v City of New London. I can't help but think that this is a precursor to a much bolder future act against us. Time will tell if I'm right or wrong and I sincerely hope it is the latter.

At any rate, I wrote my senators and congressman a short note and I urge you to do the same and let your senators and congressperson know how you feel about, what in my view is a ludicrous bill and waste of time. See the letter below.

LETTER

Dear Senator Dayton,

With all due respect sir, are you guys running out of useful things to do FOR the American people (i.e. extinguishing such [un]"patriotic" law such as the Patriot Acts or amending (DELETING) Section 6 of S397 or passing useful laws against the absolute treasonous act by the U.S. supreme Court in Kelo et al v City of New London)? The latter should have been RUSHED through the Senate in record time - that is - if the Constitution meant anything to our sitting Congress.

The current bill S.1145 Local Law Enforcement Enhancement Act of 2005 is of NO value to anyone in this country or the corporate United States! We have NUMEROUS laws (local, state, federal), 51 constitutions and virtually all religous doctrines that do not allow violent acts upon ANYONE unless there is a serious threat to one's own life. PERIOD

Let's enforce the laws on crimes against others and promote swift and harsh punishments to those tried and found guilty by a competent jury of their peers. Another law won't help! Who on God's green earth are you all trying to fool this time?

I urge all of you to read through Bill S.1145 yourself and write your senators and congressperson to express your opinion of it.

What Unmitigated Gall!

Neocon shill Mike Ruppert has stooped about as low as any man can. Much scorned, rejected Mike is now begging for people to quickly send him money so that he can relocate himself from California to Oregon, pay off debt including legal problems, IRS and other whiny reasons.

He greatly embellishes his circumstances with a bunch of other phony stuff. How stupid can this guy be? How stupid does he think we are? He has been tossed out of the 9-11 honesty movement, has lied about peak oil and pretty much just lied about things in general in his writings and productions. Now we are supposed to get our wallets and send this guy money. See his pathetic email here.

Hey Mike, I have an idea for you. Get a job and work like the rest of us to pay your bills!
